Course Description:
This course gives young learners the opportunity to get acquainted with Russian and English folklore. Children may find stories presented in narrative form with lively songs and exercises to provide maximum enjoyment. The stories recycle key language while introducing new language items to develop the student’s comprehension skills.
The main objective is to practice reading for pleasure.
The course sets the following goals:
to encourage children to learn English;
to develop language skills;
to develop cognitive and research skills, information culture;
to get acquainted with Russian and English folklore;
to work with multimedia , electronic dictionaries and resources of the Internet;
to cultivate tolerance and respect for spiritual values of different countries and people.
